Organising your venue

Find here the information you need to organise your trip to the CORDiALL Conference.

Visa Information

Participants travelling from outside the European Union may require a visa to enter France. We strongly recommend starting the visa application process as early as possible.

Most participants will need to apply for a short-stay Schengen visa at the French embassy or consulate in their country of residence. Visa requirements and processing times may vary depending on nationality.

Required documents usually include a valid passport, proof of accommodation and travel, travel health insurance, and confirmation of conference registration.
Registered participants may request an official invitation letter from the conference organisers.

Accomodations

To help you choose your accommodation in Montpellier, you can explore the hotel map and book your stay here: see hotels and map book.montpellier-tourisme.fr

We recommend choosing a hotel close to a main tram stop such as Place de la Comédie, which gives you very easy access to transportation and the city centre.

Getting around the city

Montpellier has an efficient tramway network that makes it easy to get around the city.

Find here information on how to buy a tramway ticket.

Tickets & How to Buy Them

You can purchase tram tickets in several ways:

  • Scan a QR code at tram stops to buy a ticket on your smartphone.

  • Use ticket machines at main tram stations.

  • Buy tickets at TaM partner shops around the city.
Tickets are valid for travel on the tram network — make sure you have a valid ticket before boarding.

The Montpellier City Card makes getting around easy and gives access to public transport and city attractions.
